In my blog Traveling Florida, you will read about popular or hidden beaches, hotels, restaurants, and clubs that you could visit. The reason behind me giving you this information is because Florida is a special place to me. I love every aspect of this state from the weather to the beaches and restaurants even the tiny lizards. I was born in Orlando, Florida, raised there only for a couple years. My parents both worked at Walt Disney World in Orlando. They decided to move to Michigan because my mom’s mother had passed away and her dad moved away. Their support system had diminished. They also wanted to move because of the crime in neighboring communities. My dad’s family is from Michigan and mom was born in Michigan so they decided to move to Chesaning, Michigan where my dad grew up. My parents had a lot more help from my other grandparents in Michigan. We also had very kind neighbors who helped us out from time to time. Chesaning, Michigan and Orlando, Florida are very different. Orlando was busy, crowded and crime was on the rise and Chesaning is quiet, smaller and not so crowed. I still have family living in Florida on my mother’s side. We spent a whole summer at my grandpa and grandma’s house or my aunt’s house. My mom’s family knows of all the popular and hidden places in Florida. For example, my aunt took my sister and me to a secluded beach that was hidden. She also took us to us to a restaurant that looked like a shack, but had huge slices of pizza and soda for cheap prices. The food was excellent. My grandpa worked at Walt Disney World, he could get us into the park, and tell us information about all the parks. He could also tell us which beaches were crowded and which were quiet. My uncle knows where to fish he use to on his on charter business. I have been fishing on the ocean. That’s just an insight of what some of my family knows when you are in Florida. I can give you addresses and maps of where these places are located. I can hopefully show you pictures of some of the places you should try to visit as well.
